There are six fundamental beliefs in Islam:
-
BELIEF IN GOD
Muslims believe in one, unique,
incomparable God, Who has no son or partner, and that none has the
right to be worshiped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every
other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime
perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor his attributes.
-
BELIEF IN THE ANGELS
Muslims believe in their existence, and
that they worship God alone, obey Him and act only by His command.
Amongst them is Archangel Gabriel who brought down revelations to
prophets of God.
-
BELIEF IN DIVINE SCRIPTURES
Muslims believe that God revealed books to
His messengers as proof for humankind and guidance for them.
-
BELIEF IN PROPHETS
Muslims believe in all prophets and
messengers of God, starting with Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Moses
and Jesus. Also that God’s final message to humans was revealed to
Muhammad the last and final prophet.
-
BELIEF IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT
Muslims believe that all people will be
brought back to life after death for God’s Judgment according to their
beliefs and deeds.
-
BELIEF IN AL-QADAR (PREDESTINY)
Muslims believe God has given each human
freewill to do right or wrong, and humans are responsible for their
choices. It also means God knows everything at all times and Has full
control over it.
